FNC Community Learning Farm at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education was founded in 2011. This ½ acre farm is tucked away in the forested banks of the Schuylkill River Valley. This farm is a workhorse, focusing heavily on production with access to a greenhouse and a high tunnel on site. The Schuylkill Farm also has a Children’s Garden and is the proud host of The Schuylkill Center’s Farm Camp for ten weeks throughout the summer. All of the farm’s produce is divided between our 20 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shareholders.
We are also stewards of this land and are in compliance with the Schuylkill Center’s Conservation Easements.
How To Get There:
Buses 9, 62.
Note: Buses do not drop you off right at the farm. Look up directions on SEPTA for exact details.
Get off at Port Royal. Head towards the baseball fields (if on 9) or towards CVS (if on 62). Take your first right at the stop sign. The farm is located on this road, Hagy’s Mill Road, on the left. Go into the unmarked, unpaved parking area. Behind the tree line is the farm.
